At the start of June several Daventry RFC Volunteers were invited to the East Midlands RFU Volunteers of the year awards.
Here’s a shout out to the Daventry RFC representatives that were presented with awards on the evening!
- Steve Ashfield was awarded for work on the grounds
- Mark Mytton for being chairman over 6 years
- Becky Dudgeon for keeping everyone fed and doing servery on Sundays for minis and juniors
- Ross and Wendy for their hard work on the bar.
- Karen Leaper for being Club Treasurer
- and Kitman Dave for sorting kit for 5 senior teams, ladies team and Academy!
Thank you to those above and all of our volunteers who keeping our fantastic club not just ticking over but constantly progressing and moving forward!

- Lead the exciting development of our growing women’s section.
- A brilliant opportunity for someone passionate about women’s rugby and building something special.
🏉 2nd XV Head Coach
- Support player development, team performance, and maintain our strong club culture.
- Ideal for someone who wants to coach competitive rugby in a positive environment.
📝 2nd XV Team Manager
- Assist with admin, communication, and player coordination for the 2nd XV.
- Perfect for an organised rugby lover who wants to be part of a close-knit squad.
📲 Match Day Social Media Officer
- Bring match days to life with live updates, scores, and content across our platforms.
- Great role for someone who loves sport, socials and storytelling.
🎉 Event Coordinator
- Plan and deliver brilliant club events—from awards nights to community days.
- Help us bring the club together on and off the pitch!
